Copyright infringement is a big “no-no”! Be sure you have the right to use photos and graphics in your newsletter.
• Take photos with your cell phone. Cell phones have amazing cameras these days so why not use them. Find inspiration when you are shopping, or out and about.
• Constant Contact charges you a monthly fee to store images on their server. A great work-around is to upload the images you have into your website’s server and use the URL link to insert into your newsletter. When you are in the newsletter and click insert media, you will have the option to upload or use a URL. Since the media is stored on your website, simply grab the URL and use that. Now you have saved $5 bucks a month!
• If you buy graphics or photos, keep a stock photo folder on your computer and save them there. Once you buy it, you can use it whenever you need to. By keeping them in a folder, you will have easy access.
